Our Purpose
"To know and delight ourselves in Christ, proclaiming His supremacy through evangelism/disciplemaking; church
planting and celebrative worship."
Evangelism
It is our desire as God's children to introduce others to His love as found in Christ.
Disciplemaking
We believe that every church, whether stated or unstated, produces a product. Ours is to make disciples of Christ.
Evangelism is only the initial step in that process. Christ Himself commanded us to make disciples teaching them
to obey everything that He had commanded. Therefore, we have a working grid (acrostic ROBLG) to gauge our progress
in that endeavor.
Remains in Christ (John 8:31)
Obeys Christ (John 14:15, 21)
Bears fruit (John 15:16)
Loves like Christ (John 13:34-35)
Glorifies God (John 15:8)
Understanding that discipleship is a process, our church is organized to ensure healthy, loving relationships to
fulfill not only the great commission but the second great commandment, "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31 ESV).
Unity - (Worship Services) worshipping God with other believers based upon our common roots and common
purpose of knowing Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior
Fellowship - (Adult/Youth Bible Fellowships) sharing, doing and depending on one another as co-participants
in God's kingdom
Intimacy - (Accountability Groups) to develop accountability and in-depth relationships that foster confession,
prayer, encouragement, training and character. Since this can be maintained only with a few people, small groups will
be emphasized
Celebrative Worship
We come together on Sunday morning to worship God, not only for what He has done for us in Christ, but also for who He is.
He alone is worthy of all of our attention. Therefore our worship times are geared toward the believer with the understanding that
these worship celebrations can, and often do, cause unbelievers to respond to God's presence and activity.
Church Planting
To help us bring the Gospel to a greater number and wider variety of people, we seek to continually plant more churches.
